Our CRS 2000 Chimney Restoration System
Can't use your chimney?
Our chimney restoration solution is the safest, most practical process available to let you use your chimney this winter, no matter the age or condition. Our system works with all chimneys and fuels.
Why should I be concerned?
The use of wood stoves or wood burning fireplaces creates creosote, which can become combustible. When it ignites, temperatures in excess of 2000 degrees can result. At this point, your clay liner will crack allowing the heat to transfer to the combustibles in the structure of your house. The use of our CRS 2000 solution prevents this transfer of heat, eliminating the chance of a structure fire.
A quicker, safer alternative.
The CRS 2000 chimney lining system, with its Triple Lifetime Warranty, offers a cheaper alternative to tearing down expensive brickwork. The high cost of rebuilding is eliminated, yet the chimney is safer than ever before. Laboratory tests have proven ours to be a far safer system than conventional liners, plus installation of our lining is quick, and inconvenience is minimal.
The Installation Process
The technicians extend rubber tubes into your chimney and inflate these tubes to the precise diameter for your appliance. CRS 2000 is then pumped around the former. The mix hardens over-night to a perfectly-fitted seamless flue.
Testing
The tests on the CRS 2000 chimney liner were conducted at the Research and Development Laboratory of Chimney Restoration System by Guardian Fire Testing Laboratories, Inc., in accordance with the UL1777 Zero Clearance Standard for Chimney Liners and the CAN/ULC S635 Standard for Liners for Masonry Chimneys. CRS 2000 was tested to 2100 degrees F with wood in direct contact to the chimney.
